A "potentially hazardous" asteroid more than twice the size of the Empire State Building will make close pass by Earth next week

An asteroid bigger than the world's tallest building is set to make one of its closest encounters with Earth next week

It is being speculated that the size of the asteroid is going to be about 1 kilometer or more than 3280 feet.

it's size is more than twice the height of a New York Empire State Building that is 1454 back and hundreds of feet higher from base to antenna
