Marvel’s much-awaited Secret Invasion’s teaser trailer was revealed to fans at San Diego Comic Con 2022. Secret Invasion was revealed by Marvel Studios back in 2019 without any official release date. Now, it’s confirmed that Secret Invasion will be an integral part of Phase 5.
Here are 5 Key highlights of this teaser trailer as per the fans:
1 – Nick Fury
In the opening scenes of the tease trailer itself, Nick Fury returns to Earth in a spaceship. He talks to Maria Hill at a bar, who says she’s been trying to contact him for years without success. Maria asks why he decided to come back after so long. Nick says that a problem has arisen that he needs to solve. Later on, Olivia Colman’s character tells Nick, “You’re not fit for this, Fury.”
Given the importance, Fury has been given in the teaser trailer, it’s obvious that he will lead Secret Invasion.

2 – Talos
There are quick scenes of Ben Mendelsohn as Talos. He was last seen in Captain Marvel. Talos is the leader of Skrulls and can be very aggressive when it comes to protecting his own kind.
3 – Emilia Clarke
Emilia Clarke’s character fires a gun. Although Marvel hasn’t revealed the name of her character yet, it’s possible that she may very well be seen as an integral part of Secret Invasion given the the reputation she has from Game of Thrones
4 -Kingsley Ben-Adir
Kingsley Ben-Adir’s character changing shape. Just like Clarke, Kingsley’s character too hasn’t been revealed yet. But he may be a supporting character.
5 – James Rhodes and Everett Ross
There are quick scenes of Don Cheadle as James Rhodes and Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross. They should also be supporting characters, however, we will see Everett Ross this year in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The audience who has watched this series say that Secret Invasion has more of a Captain America: The Winter Soldier vibe. Overall, this series is supposed to be a crossover series focused on how the skrulls have infiltrated Earth and living among humans in disguise. Secret Invasion is a dark thriller.
There isn’t any official release date yet but Secret Invasion currently has the window for Spring 2023.
